Having joined Omega Senior Living in October 2023 as the Regional Director of Operations, Lyla brings a history of dedication, profound understanding of the senior living industry, and compassion, making her the ideal individual to lead the communities she oversees in Iowa. Prior to her tenure at Omega Senior Living, Lyla held key positions at Jaybird Senior Living for 16 years and spent 12 years at the United Presbyterian Home. Lyla’s passion for providing exceptional care for seniors extends beyond her professional life; with a bachelor’s degree in social work from The University of Iowa, she possesses a deep understanding of the dimensions of wellness vital to our senior population.

Lyla’s warm and compassionate nature, combined with her extensive experience in Healthcare Management and Retirement living, including Independent Living, Assisted Living, and Alzheimer’s/Memory Care, as well as exceptional managerial skills to implement innovative programs, make her an invaluable asset to Omega Senior Living.
