Rod Martin

Rod Martin is the Vice President of Information Technology (IT) at Omega Senior Living. He has over 30 years of experience in IT and over 20 years in the Senior Living industry.

Rod is a pioneer when it comes to the internet. While it was in its infancy, he was tasked with the privilege of researching and reporting on the initial development of the Information Superhighway. He later was part of an Internet Service Provider, followed by being the President of an eCommerce company.

As a software developer with an MIS degree, he was instrumental in the development of a major Senior Living management software. The software covered the full range of applications from Sales to Operations to Billing. His extensive knowledge of the Senior Living business was instrumental in Omega Senior Living bringing their IT services in-house and has proven extremely helpful as Rod manages all facets of IT for Omega Senior Living.

Rod is responsible for all IT products in the communities such as Nurse Call, Phones, Networking, Management Software as well as the main infrastructure for corporate Omega Senior Living. As a valued member of the executive team, Rod has been instrumental in implementing changes as the company has moved in and out of working from home.

Rod is excited to live out Omega Senior Living’s Vision, Mission, and Values creating a culture where IT exists to serve all customers with a level of service that exceeds their expectations. He sees the role of IT as one that is there to help others excel in their jobs while providing life-enhancing products to our Residents. He leads a team that is dedicated to fulfilling this vision.

Rod believes strongly in giving back through philanthropic activities, including being a Founder and Coach of a Home School Sport organization, being active with youth through Life Church Switch, and sitting on the Advisory Council for My Neighbor’s Keeper.
